Hi all
I know it is a short time but I must ask you now, because I havn´t seen Roba last days.
Ant have said we can make the match this Monday 3th March.
The time well we can make the same as last one or later so that we play at 20:00 CET time = 19:00 UK-time = 15:00 east i mean.

Now I must know how many OCA-members plays?
And where -DJ-server or OCA-server ?
Which maps we play ?
With translocator, timelimit 30 min.?

We can change the date if it is to short to do all things.

OCA you should look in DJ forum more, i know that Leebe look in it...but you all should do cos there we write allthings about clan match if we shall have 1 against eachother....you need to be a OCA or DJ member to see the tropic {>DJ<} vs OCA...

I propose........

No relics, no translocator, best of 3, TDM, CTF, and JB. If we can't get enough members to play, then is it ok if we ask some of our friends, just a few people to fill in.

btw if its on DJ server it would be a good idea to zip all server packages into a file to download ready for the match.

Well just wanted to touch on the topic of xloc's n relics. Don't really like either of them if they were to be used guess I would perfer it in TDM. Especially dislike them in CTF tho, speed relic is extremely cheap in CTF as well as transloc. Just enables you to score or catch the flag runner easier depending on the situation.

For example someone grabs a flag who has no relics n makes there way through 4 players and get out of the enemy base. On there way back but people can use transloc to catch up to them and fire from behind. Its hard enough to make it out a base with the flag why make it easier for the d to catch up to the flag runner after being skilled or crafty enough to escape?

Then of course you can combine the speed relic and translocator for offense. Leave ur xloc somewhere where u pretty sure the enemy wont find it and then run grab the flag, with some luck u will score. Then just use ur xloc to go back to the enemies base(hopefully they didnt spot it, probably were to busy chasing u anyway). Leave ur xloc again and grab flag. Lot of your enemies should be out of the base trying to catch u from the last run unless they were killed, could make the cap even easier.

You get the gist of it anyway, relics and xloc's help make people make up for their mistakes or give them an advantage. Of course you can argue that you should strategize for these things. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and im just giving mine. I believe without xlocs and relics it requires more skill and you have to work better as a team in order to win, and there is less room for error. Like I said though these are just my opinions and im sure there are some people who love the xloc and relics.

General agree with Sly, but it depends also on the game...is it ladder/clanbase or is it just fun match'es like most of the one's we have here. Relics give an advance for those who carry them, for me it's part of the game in the fun-matches but would definately not play with them in any serious match.

Xloc might be needed in order to actually grab the flag if both teams play well, so in CTF I have no problem. Reverse problem in JB, u can't keep the other team away from the releaser if xloc is on, so there I dislike it. I also dislike them on the large sniper maps, well generally in TDM (but trying to get OCA to remove them from OCA1 is proberly like trying to stop spawnkilling on NBS....), 'cause then even n00b's can be masters of the sky. Part of TDM for me is knowing how to get around on the maps.

So in this match, I have no problem with relics and think xloc is fine just in CTF.
