We have real fun here right now , after several days of heavy rains on south of CZ all dams protecting Prague are overloaded and have to send to us large ammount of water. Currently cca 40.000 ppl from central Prague and parts around river are evacuated, river is cca 6 meters higher !!! than usual and it will be worse, in two hours it will be 7-8 meters higher. Average rate of flow in Vltava in Prague is 150 cubic meters / sec, current is 3000 cm/sec and in two hours it will be 4500 cm/sec. This is equal to "150 years water" in other words, there wasnt bigger flood in last 150 years in Prague. BTW yesterday they said it will be max 2500 cm/sec and that noone is in danger, now they are evacuating thousands of ppl, good job meteorologists....
I was on mornig in fathers company becouse it is on flood area, but few mins ago police told us that we have lo leave immideately becouse area will be flooded....
BTW historical parts of Prague will be probably flooded too, they also said that one of main tourstic atractions - 700 years old Carl's Bridge - will be maybe destroyed by floods... i hope that its not true and they only need bombastic tv news....
This server will be maybe offline, becouse telecomunications networks will have probably problems, cellular and energy networks too...
Anyway here it is safe and most of Prague parts too....

Hope all is ok roba. Dont worry about the servers being down, that isnt really what is important in a situation like this.

I am still here and there is no water around my house , but floods are really bad.... it also isnt only in Prague, many cities on Vltava river are hardly flooded, some of them (Pilsen, Ceske Budejovice) are flooded by two or three rivers at same time.... they said that worst situation will be on today night / tomorrow morning. They said it is worst natural disaster in last 100 years.... up to now 8 ppl died, 40.000 ppl evacuated. Germany, Austria and Slovakia have floods too.
Anyway, good news (at least for me) is that in Prague antiflood barriers are working good and flooded are only some river-coast areas and few parts of historic centre. Dunno how it looks at fathers company, its closed area we cant go there. Current river rate of flow is 4800 and it will be 5000 at night, but major said that antiflood barriers will stop it. Carls Bridge is still OK and on bridge are heavy vehicles to remove trees and other garbage which can make problems...
Server is still running another good news for me, I have floods-proof ISP lol, hope they wont send me some special antiflood invoice . See you all later.

Sorry to hear the situation roba. Don't worry about this server. It should be last thing on your list..Of course saving computer should be higher. And way, way, way above like first thing, yourself.
LOL I wanna see a pic of non-camping roba jumping from roof to roof.
