As some of you may have noticed I've not been around for a while. There are a few reasons:

1/ My Videocard burned. Returned it to ASUS and Im now online with a TNT1 card which doesnt play UT at all (not even a little bit, no). I'm still waiting for the replacement.

Actually I got a mail today saying the replacement Ge4 ti4200 (I sent in a Ge3 ti500) was going to be sent today but I didnt accept that one. Reason: no video in, hardly any faster, no DVI cable included so dualhead is useless. etc.

Im now trying to convince them that my 1.1year old card, which when I bought it cost E550.- is now still worth (1.9/3)*550 is E350 - which is technically true in the dutch legal system. So I humbly suggested I pay an extra E200-250 and get the Asus 9800XT. (radeon 9800xt, 256M, Razz

)

2/ Lots of other work. School, new site (basically a chat/message/community site for imode phones)

3/ Lots of other games too, not that they work but hey Razz

So I'll be back. THings will go faster if you all send me E100 *heh*

OK well, I've approved them sending me a new videocard.

I had:
- Geforce3 Ti500, deluxe.
- 64M, AGP 4x
- VideoIn
- VideoOut
- 3D glasses (weeee never ever used em)
- Lotsa games
Unreal 2003 speed: 40fps (800x600) if Im lucky. Most details off.

They then sent me:
- Geforce 4 Ti4200
- 64M, AGP 8x
- VideoOut
- DVI out (no cable for it)
Unreal 2003 speed: 45fps (800x600) Most details off

So I whined about the VideoIn that I already have on my TV card anyway and about the 3D glasses I never used once.. and then got the following offer:

I will get (for free) the replacement card:
- Club3D ati radeon 9800 pro Very Happy

- 128M, AGP 8x
- VideoOut
- DVI out (2nd monitor)
Unreal 2003 speed: 120fps (1024x768) Highest detail (no AA or AF)

Hmm.. I guess I should stop whining now, huh? *whistles*

btw isnt that Ti4200 fps too low? I had Ti4200 too and I had around 40 (sometimes more) with 1024x768 all details on... Confused

Okay...time to envy you getting this card.
I wish i wouldn't have any graphic problems any more - my "new" system just
begun shutting down on regular basis after some minutes of "MAFIA".
I really like this game, but apparently my PC doesn't. DARN!

Hope to see once in a while on PM!
