Hey your son has good taste!
Every year my parents use to take us to Camelot, I loved it. Ive been to Alton towers once when I was at school. I would drag shaman there for a weekend but he hates the rides

Who's to say I wasn't wearing one?

We didn't go far, just out to "Cleethorpes" on the east coast, just below "Grimsby" (Is that where the expression "It's grim up north" comes from do you think? lol) There was the theme park, and a small gauge railway plus other things that made it a good choice to go there. (Sean is mad about steam trains! )

I wish my lad was i lil more like urs! I have to persuade him just to go on the swing boats! (Softy that he is lol)
Ah! Alton towers! Now that brings back memories! First place I took the future mrs Wayzor back when she was sweet sixteen! (Happy days)
In fact (showing age here) I remember Alton towers when it was little more than gardens, b4 it had any rides at all, I remember visiting when they were first building the "corkscrew" roller coaster! (Wayzafossil)

our son callum is really obssessed with anything with a track(rollercoaster, train and tram)if he goes to beamish museum-hes on and off the trams all day. if he goes to a theme park he wont go on spinny things . when we went to alton towers he went on this spinny thing only cos it was a rollercoaster. well he loved it. i am hoping leebe willl take us back on a firework night so we can ride them in the dark.
we went to blackpool 2yrs back and cal even though he has a phobia of heights still managed to do the pepsi-max twice. he kept saying go on again but i saw it was stuck on the ramp and wouldnt go back on
and tempus i remember going to camelot when i was 15-16 with my mam and dad it had a rollercoaster in a mountain. i had a great time. i used to love going on the rides with my dad
