Before, on my older computer I had UT crashing all the time. Now its pretty stable. My conclusion is simply that it depends on your system install, and maybe your hardware.

Hm no I think it only started recently, and I havent changed anything.
The sound problem I used to have when I had a soundblaster sound card.
I stopped that by using the onboard sound.

Hi Kokkie.
Have you taken a look inside your case recently?
I did the other day and found my fans were clogged up and the cpu cooler was really crapped up with dust and fluff.
I stripped stuff out and cleaned everything and took the opertunity to re-seat the memory and cards... Seems to have made a considerable difference:)
As for the sound issue I dunno. Sry.
It's sometimes worth going back to basics and checking the obvious!
Hope it helps m8.

thnx for the tip Wayzor but already done that!! i have a AMD XP 2000+ and the normal temp of my cpu was 45c... last week it was 55c.. so i was wondering where that came from. Looked at my cpu fan and it was compleetly coverd white dust so i cleared my whole machine that time.
cya,
kokkie
