This species is called:"Worrt":

Native to Tatooine, worrts are blindingly stupid and will attack anything that appears remotely edible, cheating, teamkilling or spamming -- metal, poisonous plants, large rocks and undigested pieces of bots have been found in the guts of dead worrts. Nerfs:
These domesticated herb-eaters are raised for their delicious meat. That's a good thing because they have one of the most foul odors this side of the Galactic Core. The rangy, supple creatures have long fur covering their muscular bodies and dull, curved horns. They also tend to spit at their handlers, which probably doesn't work wonders for the dispositions of the nerf herders either. (Sorry, no pic up to now)

Means, they're comparable to our cows - expect for the spitting.
Sooooo a nerf herder, is someone who tends them. -> like shepherd


Ok, I have to admit, no too exciting.

What punt refers to, is called "Waaaaaaargh!" I think.

This goes back to the days they were first encountered:
An expedition made its way through the rough terrain on PM. When they stopped and set up their camp, the head of the crew and one of his companions took a look around to secure the area and watch out for possible prey. They went on for some time till the head was asked: "What's this over there heading at our location pretty fast?" He turned and wanted to explain what species of the wide variety of mother earths wonderful creatures this is, so he started: "This my friend, is a...... Waaaaaaargh!"
His eyes went wide and he uttered quite a lot of other words, too, but I will not include them here; this forum is also accessed by people who might be offended by them.

I think everybody can imagine the next few seconds of total havoc - a redeemer-riding maniac heading at the group- everything that remained from this incident is what I found on this voicerecorder.(If I manage it in time, I'll get the rest of this breathtaking message via WMP in here somewhere.)

And that is one of the reasons why skilled snipers are quite useful - especially when they can run like hell and keep and steady hand nonetheless!

If he'd been around at that time, the rocket wouldn't even have reached the outer perimeters of the building.

Aaaaaaaaaahm.... I don't think it's the nerf that makes this weird sound (being as big as a cow, I just don't want to have to carry the launcher this creature fits in! )

But I sense a new story coming up.. maybe about the "Spluts".. who knows?
