hey guys,,

was looking for the server but it is down!! Crying or Very sad

does it have annything to do with that big fire in twente? I don't hope so..

All that is ever heard is how this or that server is down, yeah it is fun and all, but no one drops in to say.

I know punt works hard to keep the server up and running!! i didn't placed this post to complane about the server down ?again? just want to inform. al of the guys who didn't know about that fire!

but you where right... no one drops in to say when tings go great...

so now im gonna say what the most people only think i gues...

Thanx punt (and all other OCA memebers) for al the really good work on the server. Don't know punt if you live in twente and that you also have some problems with you one internet connection at home. but good luck!!!!!! Wink

Just in general if you look in this forum, all you see is Server2 Closed, or server needs maintenance, etc....

Zed why don't you get roba or someone to make a program to see if the servers are working or not and link it in to the forum and then you wont have people stating the obvious all the time (the server is down, the server is down). I know you have server watcher but not everyone knows about it. if you make it a part of the forum maybe people will stop being silly.

I know the server's are really busted up this time but most of the time they are only off-line for a short amount of time and it might save people posting unnessaerly.

I know punt and roba do a lot and i for one am very thank full and i say so i have said thanks and weldone more that once. i know is not alot but is something

well dragon here are some of the tools used to keep the servers up and running.

OCA admins, serverwatcher lets anyone know its not on, most of us have utwatcher, there is a perl script that resets the server now if it is offline for a certain amount of time, and then we have punt at the location of the server.

I dont think it is necessary to add another tool, besides people are going to post it no matter what, because they cant play right that moment.

I know I have seen you say thanks a few times, and it is greatly appreciated you taking the time to say those kind words.

I know about the server watcher and roba's reset program. I just thought that if when people come to the server and it was obvious that it was off-line they might not post. I just thought it would help your moderating, coz a lot of post's on the forum are people complaining "the server is down the server is down". But you are right enough is enough you can just delete the silly posts i suppose "but they would just post again Mad
