Hey,
I've tinkered with the bot settings a bit, basically I figured that some bots need to be evasive and bad shots, some need to be good shots and static, and everything inbetween.
With that in mind I've tweaked the bot skills etc a bit, and now the binary number 0 (00000) thru 29 (11101) are bad to good shots, 11110 is an excellent shot and horrible at strafing while 11111 is the most jumpy jittery bot there is but is a very bad shot.
Also all these settings are relative to base bot skill, so if they're all too good or all too bad I can up or lower the base skill a bit. Also I can make the skill range a bit more pronounced, I now noticed accuracy (how well they shoot) is more important then trafing etc, Im varying accuracy between 0.0 and 0.6 (relative, remember) while the devilbot was 1.0. I can up to 0.7 or even perhaps 0.8 to make them really challenging, 0.9 or over is starting to be literally inhuman and I feel that the best players should be able to beat the bots, but its no problem that crappier players get creamed
Let's hear it. 11000 isnt a devil bot anymore at least

Speaking of which, I can give the bots a special skin just as I can give OCA peeps one.
Yerf, would you be willing to put OCA on a bot skin?
How about this one:

(Actually IMHO this one is so cool that perhaps one of our clansmen would like this one too, and they CANT! I found it first! Na na! )
(Stupid www.planetquake.com/polycount.. the 'next page' button is not placed strategically)

Thanks - we're working on it now, I've mailed with Yerf, and basically afaik he is, or will start to put the OCA logo on it shortly. No idea how long it'll take but they'll start showing up in our arena's soon enough.

Can i keep a bot as a pet?? Some of these bots are so clueless I don't think they would notice if they were not on UT.
