I just downloaded the bonus pack four, because i wanted to use one of the new boss skins. i installed the skins and the new maps that come with it. Now when ever i try to play on the server online i get

"UT Pure has detected an impurity hiding in your client (ID:70945)"

i only get this when i connect to this server no others... what can i do???

All i can suggest is reinstall UT.

That was happening to me when you changed the utpure files Punt.
Even when i deleted all utpure.u files it didnt work.....soo
it installs another file i cant remember the exact name but its something like bpHandler.u something like that, anyway i deleted all those and when i connected to pointless mayhem it downloaded the files again and everything worked.
You could try that Tempus.....it worked for me.

On a side note about skins punt the warboss skin is causing problems. on a lot of maps it changes colour, its only that skin. I thought it was ppl using a cheat but it seems unlikely when its only that skin and ive seen it happen on about 10 different ppl.

okay i went into my system and it has the following files in it, that match what you said-

BP1Handler5w.u
BP1Handler5x.u
BP4Handler5w.u
BP4Handler5x.u

delete these and hope for the best?

also someone i spoke to for help suggested that its thinking i am trying to join as a bot, how can this be so?

Delete all those files:

BP1Handler5x.u
BP4Handler5x.u
VAHandler5x.u
UTPureRC5x.u

where x can be w or other lettler (older UTPure version). Than connect to server and all should be ok.

ok i deleted all those files cept the one i couldnt find, i still get the same thing.

ok now they r working on the server which is fantastic, but i have another problem grrrrrrrr

when i try to play a lan game with my bf i cant connect and it says something to do with .de
i think i read somewhere, but i cant remeber that some servers might come up with a problem with this, and so there is somthing u need to remove for your .ini

i cant remember for the life of me where this was at, can someone save me again?

we tried that now it kicks me when i host a lan game

U have to edit your UnrealTournament.ini too
Delete there
ServerPackages=De
too.
And then close your firewall, when its on, he cant join the game, cause he get blocked.

I'm sure it says something like mismatch version DE . Anytime you get a mismatch error like that, just delete the file it says. That error all it is, is a conflict between the specified file you have on your computer and a file by the same name on the other computer or server you are trying to connect to. So when you delete it, whoever has the error will just download the file and all be good again.
