Well at the school, well in the area in general there is a bug going around, lots of people are ill.
Well the class teacher went home sick at lunchtime, and I took the class for the afternoon (I being a teaching assistant)
Well I cant have done tooo bad with the children, because the head phoned me up this evening, the class teacher phoned her and said she wont be in tomorrow coz she is still ill (She did look dreadful today) so the head phoned me and asked if I wanted to take the class tomorrow rather than get a sub in, and the best bit I will get paid extra for it!
This is just sooooooo great, and im so excited about it! Im the youngest member of staff in the school, and im not even a qualified teacher!!! (I am doing a teaching assistant, leading to a teaching course tho) The class teacher is gonna leave some work which another member of staff who lives close to her will pick up, but it feels so great! I can proove myself to the school and im already getting teaching practice Exclamation

And the cool thing about a private school is you dont actually have to be a qualified teacher to work there, so its always good to get in coz ya never know Wink

Personaly I can't think of anything I'd rather do less, than try to get 20 or more bishing whinning teens to behave!............Actualy, sounds a bit like doing admin on some of the UT forums! Razz

Joking aside, as I said, I'm happy for ya m8.............a feeling of acheivment is a powerful thang!! Smile

wayz im actually very very VERY lucky because..
I work in a private school, maximum class sizes is 11, the infants class is only 8 children, one of which is off witht he flu.
