Pointless Mayhem has some bad lag problems at times and people that are playing at that time just leave, since theres loads of new servers started up theres plenty of options.
Then people who would join after that see an empty server and dont join.

Punt needs to fix the problem with the lag, whatever it is, or people are just going to leave. But Punts a bit busy atm and hasnt got the time.

All I can say about PM right now is that there MUST be something done about it Evil or Very Mad

Last 6-7 weeks ping have been skyhigh...(even though I haven't played that much I'm still checkin regulary Wink

)....above 200 and tonight I suffered some heavy packloss....5-45% on all incoming packages and up to 15% on outgoing Shocked

Did a ISP check on my netspeed and all was ok here....and on all other servers I tried it was ok too....these probs was only appearing on PM Confused

So....I guess my question is....what's happening on PM

I know I'm not the only one havin problems....and I know Punt havin a hard time elsewhere Rolling Eyes

....but aren't there anybody else who can try to solve these problems Question

Dunno much about this....but I ran a server myself a couple of years back....and sometimes a simple thing like rebooting and/or bash

the shit out of it can do miracles Mr. Green

Hope to be able to play soon again....cause I miss my "home" Wink

It's good of you to provide some other 'options'. But that's not the point...

PM was FANTASTIC! Clearly a cut above the rest. The players had class, there was a good spirit and it was lag free... and we miss it Sad

It's a good suggestion from Zniperman, doesn't anyone else have admin access to the server? I'd start by unloading the last few patches that were applied, everything was working great until just before Punt got really busy with rl.

No anyone else hasnt access to that server. Its Punt's sever and it has more important jobs than only running UT so it is understandable that Punt isnt giving out access to it. But thing is, that NOTHING changed from previous (lagfree) setup. Punt would fix it if it was that easy, but nothing changed. And also, not everyone has that lag, for example for me its OK in last few weeks.
