What is happening to Pointless Mayhem dude?

We, the players, love your server and we appreciate the work you've put in to making it what it is.

As an aside: Your scripts have spread throughout the UT community. People who've never been to PM or been on this forum know of your work and everyone is mightily impressed.

But PM is sick m8 Sad

Ever since the PuntAutoLag script was added it's as jerky as an epileptic in a disco. I have no problems connecting to any other server and I used to have no problems connecting to PM...

People vote with their feet. Where as I used to have to wait to get on, there's now only a handful of people left... :'(

I guess rl is distracting you from what is important!?

If there is anything we can do please say.

i really wished punt could fix it once and for good too cos i really
missed the good o times in pm.

i believe not everyone experienced pm is unplayable.
one thing for sure, the pm now is totally different from the past.
just like zen said about the waitin' to get connected into
the server thing. in the past, during peak hrs its difficult to get into
it. and now its pretty easy to get connected(but not me...I always
check it through all-seeing-eyes to see how populated the server
is). people r moving to other servers(for better choices...i dunno!).
pm is certainly 'sick' somewhere and it needs 'medical' attention
to draw back the crowds, especially regulars.

Can't tell you if there are still problems for me on pm cause i haven't been there mutch last 2 weeks. And the time that i was there there were only 4 other ppl. So i can't tell you what is wrong. but that there 5 other servers sould not be the biggest prob. The all have a connection (dutch players ping around 100) i know the connection of pm is better and u can get a connection of 50.

hmmz.... PM gives me lagg problems all the time, and i get disconnected automaticly on the 2 mins..... sorry guys,,, but you wont see me on PM anymore... Confused

Hello all , Ariel here. If you now are talking about lag on PM, i have something strange to tell you.

Last week i was on PM and i was the only player there. It was lagging as hell or in fact it was unplayable. My ping was c:a 40 - 60, but (and here comes the strange thing) PM's bots had a ping time that was around 200.

Now i get abit confused. How can i have a lower ping than the bots that are on the server itself ?

HM that is VERY strange. I still think its all ZP2's fault, coz I have same lag on BIG. Sometimes its really unplayable, like playing Halo in 1600x1200 on GeForce2MX Wink

its easier for me to hit ppl on Fragga without ZP than on BIG with ZP2 Confused

Anyway PM seems to be ok for me in last weeks, but I dont thinmk something changed there, so I dunno...

well zp2 always works sweet for me. i never had any problems
with it. i wish to come back to pm to play for old time sake but
currently pm is totally unplayable(i can't even get in...arghh...
the downloads still took light years...) for me so its BIG, KISS
and SDA servers for me lately.
