Hi,
Since I changed my name (by dropping the {t} training tag) strange things have been happening to my ranking...
My new name has stayed in the 30's ( ).... but my old name has rocketed up in to the 20's!!
This has happened very recently and I changed my name last week some time...
I haven't played as -{IHC}-Zen-{t} for ages but my points seem to be going some to that old name and some to me new name...
Any idea what has happened?
-{IHC}-Zen

Ok Zen this is the deal...
When you play your games are ranked per day, you over all rank is based on the information (stats) that the server holds.
Over time you oldest games will drop off day by day. So if you played better after your first few games that have now droped off then you rank will go up.
Plus that is always other people ranks could have droped below your with will make ur go up.

Yeah, what dragon said, with one correction: the system actually counts per frag
Every UT Log is made up of individual frag lines, and I impolitely just chop off log lines when it exceeds -somany- megabytes. So you might actually have like 4 frags recorded off a game where you made 20 if that map got half-deleted for being old already
